One

Quite a world this internet is.  It has a language all its own.    Growing up LOL was just a few letters, now it is a whole phrase.    BRB, LMAO, IMHO all a direct result of the internet.   These are some thing, likely, all of us use and or recognize.    Somewhere out there some one, thought of doing this and every one agreed.   Granted not a huge stretch, they are after all simple acronyms.   Not a lot of creative engineering involved.

One thing I have been seeing is  PWNED !!!   ( forgive me if I am off base on this in the first place )  It is my understanding that this is to actually be pronounced  OWNED.  ( no, I dont know )   It means you have just been shown who is the boss.    Like if some one posts something inaccurate and some one posts something with clear concrete evidence to the contrary one might say  " They guy got PWNED "   I have no clue why it is spelled that way.  I dont know where it came from.   I dont know who thought it up.   But this I know.   One person thought of doing this, and every one agreed.

If you think about it, every thing starts with just one person.  Granted, there have been comities and panels and groups that think up things, plan things, and design things but with in these groups all it takes is one person to say  " What about this,,, "   Maybe there was a lot of input.  Maybe there was a lot of suggestions.   Maybe there is bits and pieces of many many ideas that became this one idea.  But those bits and pieces came from one.   The combination came from one. And every one agreed

I am blessed beyond compare for many, many reasons.  One of which is to have happened across an amazing artist some years ago.   Miranda Stone has entertained me, challenged me and with out question changed me.   I am fortunate to be in the situation that we call each other friend.  Because we call each other friend I am going to print the lyrics to one of her songs with out expressed written permission.
"The Power Of One " by Miranda Stone

" You stomp your feet on tiny houses/
Prey on the helpless /
You are the beast/
I want your fire/
But hate your methods/
One day the greatest shall be the least/
I'm just a flicker in the darkness/
A birthday candle beside the sun/
But the revolutions/
With in our histories/
They all got started by the power of One

You hog the blanket/
Wile I am sleeping/
so I get shafted each time I turn/
We have no weapons/
We have no money/
But children watch and children learn/
When you were born/
You came out bloody/
Just like me mister, and the holy son/
The day is coming/
alone you'll leave here/
The you'll remember/
The power of One

When I was little/
The boys would taunt me/
To prove their manhood/
And it still happens/
now that I am older/
They have slave labor to make their calls/
You have got a life time of sucesses/
Which equals nothing when the day is done/
With out love/
No lasting value/
Unless you die into the power of One

And man and women/
The join together/
Like grace and mercy the work begun/
I am a living testimony/
Of what was started by the power of One'

(Please visit www.mirandastone.com and check out her stuff.   You'll be impressed )

One person invented Coke, and now you cant go fifty feet and not see it.   I can go on with examples, but you dont need them.
What is going on inside your head ? What is God saying to you ?   I'll bet the first time some one typed LOL that person had to explain what it meant.   But the other person liked it enough to tell some one else.  Guess what ? That person had to explain it, but the next person liked it enough to tell some one else.   Maybe the person that came up with PWNED thought it was dumb, or maybe thought every one else would think it was dumb.  But now 1,000's upon 1,000's are using it.   All started by one.

What is going on inside your head ?  What is God saying to you ?  A random act of kindness.    Maybe spending time with some one unlovely.   Maybe sharing some of your journey.    Maybe tell some of your story.
Who knows.  You might have some explain to do.   You might think it is dumb.   But the next person just might like it enough to tell some one else.
Every thing starts with just one person.

That is the power of one.

Encountering God

In Junction Encountering God is a fav topic of ours.   We love sharing points in our journey where Gods presesnce was evident.  Where Gods work was obvious.  A few of those stories can be found here in some of my prior posts.

I have a new just such a story.   Back in March, quite by accident I ruptured my cornia.  Yeah, exploded my eye ball in laymans terms.  As much as I would love to sit here and tell you my  Encountering  God had to my eye being miraculasly healed, or something to that effect.   Not so.  My Encounter with God was a bit more indirect.  Here I am, quite literally half blind, encountering God on a daily basis.  Michelle, Arielle, Jesse, Lindsey, Kenny, Scott, Shannon, Ben, Icka, Lisa, Donkey, Jerk, Derrick, Dandy Dan, my folks, all had their roll in my encountering God.   Phone calls.  E-mails.  Cards.  Visits.  Rides all around.  Offers to make me dinner.  ( I am a friggin'  idiot to not have taken you up on that Linds'  )  Sending me huge boxes of pop corn.  I have been blessed beyond compare.   The love and support of my friends and family has been out standing and over wealming.  Thanks to you all.  I saw God and Gods love in you all.

Concequencs...

An on-line friend of mine has these words in his signature tag...

" Consequences of action is a law all must face "

Day in day out we are all faced with decisions. From the simple " Do you want fries with that ? "  , which car do you get behind at the red light?
To the complex, Do you tell some one you love them ?  Do you pack up your whole world and move to another town?

This is not a faith based thing.  Although, it could be.  What are the consequences of not telling some one about the love of God ?  There are consequences for both them and you.  That is not so much the point I want to get to.  My point is the end result.

The end result is unavoidable.  Regardless of what it is.  Regardless of if it is what you want or what you expect, the end result is unavoidably part of the deal.

When my lunatic of an ex fiance'  dumped me.  I did not pray for the emotional pain to go away.  I did not pray for God to deliver me from the sorrow.  It was a package deal.
With making the decision to love her I inherited the potential to be hurt.   You cant have one or the other.  They go hand in hand.   If you make a decision, you have to accept what ever consequence associated with that decision.   Be it all good and all in your favor.  Or have it all blow up in your face.

I get frustrated with people who speed, and then pitch a fit when they get a ticket.  You made the decision to break the law.   Your decision has a consequence.  Some times all that consciquence is getting there a little bit faster.    But some times, the consequence is a ticket.  That is part of the deal. It is the end result of your decision.

No one wants to get a ticket.  No one wants to get their heart broke.
Same as no one wants to get behind the slow car ( Metallic Red F-150 Jolly Rancher ) at the red light.   Decisions would be ultimately easer to make if we knew before hand what the end result would be.   If we knew the consiquences, decision making would be a no brainer.  Sadly that is not the world in which we live.  We have to take things blindly, cause there really is no choice.   That said we also must take the end result that accompany's those choices.  Just because you dont want it doesnt mean you get to go around it.  That is not life.  That is not the world we live in.  If the decision is yours then the end result is also yours.

I earlier mentioned my break up.   I remember these words with God quite clearly.
" I cant go around it.  I cant avoid it.  The only way I am going to get through this is to go through this.  There is no other way. "

I actually dont know if I have a point to this other than you have to accept the end result.
You have to accept the consequences to your decisions.  It is a package deal.
Think, pray, proceed with caution, and accept the end result.

Basketball be gone

Ya wanna make those flaming basketballs go away ?
The ones that appear next to your comments.  I dont know what other flaming basket balls could be considered.  Nor do I want to know.

Any way, go to your look and feel page, then go to web setting or some thing like that.  The very bottom one.  Cut and paste this.
